As well as doing a lot of civil partnerships and weddings, I'm also a portrait photographer. Simon got in touch with me through the website and needed a few shots, so I headed over to his place for an impromptu shoot. As well as meeting lovely people and having fun with the camera, one of the best things about portrait and lifestyle shoots is seeing what's around and how you can make it into an interesting picture. Simon's flat was fantastically decorated, check-out the stencil of Marilyn Monroe on the wall … naturally, I had to get a picture of it!
